I am a BioDesign Engineer currently studying at the intersection of biology, textiles and digital fabrication on the ‘Fabricademy’ course in Barcelona, with a particular focus on 3D bioprinting for conservation and restoration in marine environments. Advancements in the BioDesign world excite me so much due to the interdisciplinary mindset that opens doors to an unbelievable amount of ideas, gathering information from all walks of life. I love understanding the close contact relationship that we can create with nature through symbiosis and the beauty of ecosystem architecture that can be translated into our world through biomimicry.
The intersection of exploration, biodesign and conservation of the environment is where I thrive and I feel fuelled to excel in all aspects of these fields.
